With Halloween and Bonfire Night over for another year, it can only mean one thing. Christmas is coming. And living in London, you won’t be short of things to do this festive season. From Christmas Markets to Christmas Carols there’s something for everyone…

1. Christmas Lights
Kick start the seasonal celebrations and get in the festive spirit of things with the turning on of the Christmas lights. From Oxford Street to Covent Garden, watch the many streets of London light up and sparkle in the winter skies. With woodland creatures and mistletoe themed lights, these aren’t your average Christmas lights. You won’t be disappointed.

2. Christmas Shopping
Shop until you drop at some of London’s top shopping districts this Christmas. Choose luxury gifts and festive novelties at designer shops such as Harrods, Selfridges and Liberty. Or fancy something different? Head to the Christmas markets at The Southbank, Leicester Square, Camden and many more, where you’ll find handmade gifts, jewellery, crafts and local produce.

3. Ice Skating
There’s nothing quite like wrapping up warm, grabbing a pair of skates and heading outside onto an ice rink. With beautiful lights and festive scenes, ice skating in some of the city’s top spots such as Hyde Park, the Tower of London and the Natural History Museum is a must this Christmas.
